| ae-racer, Dante wants to race his car again, so maybe I'll bring him up before indoor ends. I might run??????? I'm waiting for outdoor to start. I haven't been feeling the greatest lately so I've kind of just been laying around. If you want to race Truggy this summer, Iwould suggest a used Jammin CRT RTR, If anyone has one for sale. They are tough, handle great and parts are readily available. A Pro Jammin CRT kit with servos-engine-battery pack-starter box-pipe and whatever else you might need is going to cost you about the minimum of $ 1000.00. | |

| Eric, Associated just came out with a new 1/8 scale buggy. There you go, you can stay true to your brand name. | |

| I am also looking at the Cen Matrix. I have had the itch to build one from the pro kit. We'll see, I imagine I will be making the decision pretty soon. That means that my hopped-up Mammoth st will be for sale. (the XTM 457 is a screamer) | |

| i'm vey excited about going nitro racing this summer looking at the cen matrix rtr or jammin rtr leaning towards jammin 60/40 one concern about cen is the chassis brace on the pro they have normal aluminum 45* brace like the jammin i just wonder if it fails on the rtr how your going to fix the problem any of you vets have any info towards either fmi what makes a clunk tank does either rtr have a tank that does that runs if upside down | |

| I am not for sure on the tanks, but I am sure you will never end up up-side-down. It's not like you will be taking it over 3+ foot jumps or trying to fly over the triples, or pass the competition by running over them. Well you might be doing some of that...
I know it really helped me last year when I began running an in-line fuel filter. It held a little more fuel until the marshal had a chance to flip me back over.

| The bracing on the pro is actually the same as the rtr. I know in some of the mag pics it showed the normal aluminum braces but I have the pro and the rtr versions in the shop and I can tell you that it is the best bracing I have seen on a truggy so far. | |

| It'll be very interesting to see how many parts Ryan needs to bring to the track when you guys with all the new model truggies stuff the triple the first time. | |

| Was just wondering what clutch bell evertyone is using so far this season. I am torn between a 14 and a 15. Also I am not really sure what effects the 2 will have on racing. Ran a 13 around the track a few times and I was told it was a liitle weak on the high end.
Any advice would be greatly appreciate before I introduce the Mantis to her 1st race on Saturday.
Thanks | |

| well if it seems that weak on the top end...going up one tooth would be the safest bet. you'd be suprised how much one tooth makes a difference
plus you don't wanna go up too high cause you'll work that motor and clutch bigtime.
I have a 12 tooth in the muggy (but it's geared high to begin with) and a 13 in the 8ight-T...but it has a .21 motor so I need that low end on it

| Congrats on the Matrix! This is what I am running right now: shocks: front: 60 wt #1 piston w/ short shock end (upper mount=lower outer hole bottom mount=inside mount)
rear: 40 wt #2 piston w/ long shock end (upper=lower outer hole bottom=inner)
diffs: remember these are the Limited slip differentials. They are different than most other truggies front=80wt gear oil center=5000 wt diff oil rear= 2000 wt diff oil
Hope this helps you as a base. Did you get out and run it yet?

| Jerod we have to remember that Nino is a teacher. He may only be a band teacher, but he is a teacher none the less so that means he actually likes doing homework! He was one of the ones we would look at to do our homework | |

| Get that Matrix hooked up so we can swap set-up info. I still have some stuff I want to experiment with, but it is getting pretty close to the BIG race. It may have to wait.
What hop-ups do you have?
